Function

Returns a TRUE value if the last FIND statement for a particular record found more than one record.

Sample

FIND pessoa
NO-LOCK no-error.

IF AVAILABLE pessoa THEN
IF AMBIGUOUS pessoa THEN
MESSAGE “ambiguous”.
ELSE DO:
MESSAGE “not ambiguous”.
DISPLAY pessoa.nome.
END.
